「Staff are generally nice and friendly, there is a bar downstairs which serves good food, many locals came for dinner so is quite vibrant if you would like to mingle with people from different counties. However the room does not include duvet which means you either have to rent one (1100 isk) or bring your own sleeping bag. You will have to bring your luggage upstairs too.」

「Great location and very near to church in Akureyri. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and should be the best I met in 2-week stay in Iceland. Rooms are normal in size, neat and tidy. Breakfast included in room charge though abit overpriced」

「If I could give this place 10 stars I would! It had a private hot tub as advertised which was wonderful. We saw the Northern lights every night we were here. No tours needed, just look out your window. It was appointed with a kitchen which we used on several occasions to get a break from the food prices lol. Overall a 10 star from me.」
