「Stayed for one night, the bar area was really busy when I arrived at around 1845hrs. Booking in was straightforward and the room was comfortable with an en-suite. The locals in the bar were very welcoming and friendly. I had a full breakfast, which was excellent, the staff were also very friendly. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, the location is an excellent base for touring the area, and the price of rooms are good value. 」

「Situated in the center of Kelso the Queens Head is in the perfect location for the area attractions. The staff were attentive, solicitous and helpful. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was substantial and delicious. Dinner in the bar was very noisy but the staff obliged me moving to a quieter table. 」

「We found it hard to find the entrance when first arriving. Reception/ restaurant area is warm & inviting. Our room was a good size, paying similar to hotel properties, i would expect towels to be included in the room price. Other than that it it was a nice stay. Close to town. 」

「Lovely beach opposite and charming understated town, so nice seeing the grey seals and eider ducks in the harbour. Close to the stunning St Abbs village and nature reserve with beautiful cliff top walks. No issues with the property, easy to book, clean, comfortable, nice room and a lovely breakfast served by friendly staff. Will stay here again next time in area. Highly recommend it.」
