Melia Granada Hotel

Melia Granada Hotel

8/10 Good
"Very good well designed rooms ?some rooms have no view but skylight sunlight from roof through window. Clean bathroom, sheets and towels, stocked mini bar access. Very comfy beds. No iron available in room must be requested. Doesn't have a swimming pool but has an upgrade lounge you can access with the upgrade room. Lounge that includes stunning views is available 12pm to 8pm as well. The male staff were efficient and warm and super helpful. They called taxis with an online system that is pretty fast At times with the female staff did not feel as welcoming or warm but they delivered once requested. Very central location to shops, restaurants and supermarkets less than 1 to 20 min walk away.Did not try any amenities only thing to note is that elevator access should be restricted to guests only out of safety but saw this happen across other hotels in seville (but they had a security guard onsite)."

"Very nice hotel very close to the Alhambra. There are several restaurants close to the hotel or it's a 15 minute walk to the city center. The walk to town is through a shady walkway without traffic, so it's a very nice walk (although the walk back up the hill is more challenging than going down!) We enjoyed a couple of hours by the pool, although there are only two umbrellas so one day we couldn't go unless we wanted to sit in full sun. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"This is a fabulous hotel. It’s very short distance from the Alhambra and a good location to take taxis elsewhere. The staff was fantastic. The hotel was beautiful and well appointed everything was first rate don’t miss it. The Bar and Restaurant have gorgeous views of the Alhambra and the food was excellent."

"I cannot say enough good things about the front desk team here—Marcos genuinely turned what could have been a travel disaster into a masterclass in hospitality. When my luggage failed to arrive on my flight to Granada, I showed up empty-handed and completely stressed out. Instead of just offering standard polite condolences, the front desk staff went entirely above and beyond. Marcos called the airport handling agents directly the next day and helped me track down the status of my luggage which finally arrived the second day I stayed in the hotel. His warm, cordial attitude made me feel supported and reassured the luggage will arrive before I leave. Easily the most cordial, helpful, and genuinely caring team I have ever encountered. Absolutely the best ever!"

"Property was very nice. Cafeteria buffet for breakfast was good. Coffee was from instant machines and was terrible. Also disappointed that no bottled water was provided in the room. when I asked, the front desk told me the tap water in the room was fine. It was not, it was chlorinated. Tasted terrible. And getting ice delivered to the room was a €5 charge. Once you get past that, the overall experience is good."
