「The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area.」

「Just returned from an excellent stay at the Beaches Guesthouse and would definitely return. Warm welcome and friendly service from Jo and Buzz throughout our stay. Room 10 was spacious, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, and featured a good sized ensuite. The room could be improved by replacing the blind such that it blocks out all light in the mornings. 「The overnight stay was a pleasure the staff were welcoming and helpful. The bar is well stocked and the cooked breakfast very tasty. The building looks a bit tired not surprising as it is originally an 18th century coaching inn but that didn’t spoil our stay.」
