「I recently stayed here for several nights and overall had a positive experience. Things didn't start out that way, as the first room I was assigned was really grim. There was an awful smell coming from the carpet (similar to wet dog) and permeated the entire space and bathroom. In addition, the toilet was running and didn't have a functioning flush. I was really hesitant to approach the front desk and complain, as am usually not a picky or confrontational person. However, I had nothing to lose...

「The property has no staff or management on-site overnight. We checked in as normal but when we returned at 11 pm our room cards would not work. Also called the phone number to reach the hotel several times - also no answer. Called Expedia, they could not reach hotel staff. There were cobwebs in corners, dirty sinks, and the handrails and Banister rails to the stairs and Loft have never been washed down. I tried again and again, but the door would not lock. I had to bring my valuables with me when I left the cabin as it was not safe to leave them in an open cabin.
