The serving staff were personable and helpful but the service at meal times was slow because there was not enough staff. Down side was the poor control of parking (cost £15 per night) and I witnessed one customer very irate because his car was blocked in. 「Awful.. Small boat visitors accommodation! This Awful place is like a hotel for immigrants, though they probably lost their licence due to it infringing their human welfare rights! They have squeezed as many rooms as possible in the space, with corridors like a rat run that you can barely walk through! Rooms are small smelly and hot, the toilets are in barely enough space to fit an average bum on? (no good for Americans) There is not enough water pressure for the shower to work.. And a shelf...

「Newly built hotel with modern very clean design. Rooms with sea view have a spectacular view. Great location on bus route around Torbay. Breakfast and dinner of good standard. Staff are very efficient, attentive and pleasant. One thing to note is the £15 per day car parking fee.」

「On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom. When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room. Tommy could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choices. You just have to ask as there's no menu. Again Tommy brilliant with service and prompt delivery. A very happy chap. Id...

「Lovely building and really helpful owners / staff . Was really clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good . Only a couple of minor things really , the shower head kept dipping down so was a bit of pain when you were shampooing etc . Bit noisy at night time but obviously the very nice owners can’t help that .」

「A beautiful, traditional hotel with excellent, friendly staff who go the extra mile to help. We had a lovely sea view large bedroom with a balcony. The food was excellent with a good choice for room service too. Stunning views from hotel across Torbay. We will definitely be returning.」

「We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family.」
