「Firstly, £15 a day for the privilege of parking at the hotel and it’s on a first come first serve basis, is more the norm now bits it’s appalling, if you go out your not guaranteed your spot once returned. Tv didn’t work until I asked twice for it to be sorted and the fridge didn’t work and didn’t get sorted. However, it’s a lovely new/clean and well designed hotel. Comfy bed, lovely on suite and a great location for Paignton and close by Torquay. Overall we would go again!」

「Perfect location by the beach and centre of town. The room was big enough for us and the beds were comfy. The hotel is a bit dated, however it was clean and had a nice lounge area with live entertainment each night which we enjoyed.」

「My room was very clean and it was easy to obtain supplies if needed. The housekeeping team was friendly and the quality of their work was excellent. 「The room itself was clean and tidy Staff were very friendly Breakfast needs looking at running out of eggs sausages with a full hotel is not good enough. Took ages to be served waiting in a queue. Saturday evening lift broke still broken Sunday morning lots of older people struggling to get upstairs not nice to see .Apart from this we had a nice weekend .」

「We absolutely loved staying at The Barbican Hotel. It’s in a great location, near the beach and town. We were greeted so kindly and looked after so well. Our room was fresh and bright, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was wonderful! Well cooked and presented! I can honestly say, we couldn’t have chosen a better guest house! 「The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain.」
