「We were in room 1. It was immaculate, big comfy bed Fantastic shower, tea and coffee and a well stocked kitchen that was spotlessly clean. Alexa in kitchen to enjoy music if required. Access was easy and instructions regarding everything were in the folder in the room. Really enjoyed our stay would definitely stay again and recommend as well to family and friends.」

「We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. 」

「The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion. My room was clearly re-purposed, with the en-suite bolted on, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fittings were quite new and of a good standard. 「The rooms were clean and well serviced. The bed was solid and comfy. The staff were very helpful. I saw people have had issues with the water pressure in the showers. I waited about twenty seconds for the pump to kick in and it was a great shower. Comments about the walls being thin. On the first night I had nightmare neighbours. But Steve promptly dealt with them and no more noise. Simples. I was there for 5 nights. Had different, more courteous neighbours during the rest of my stay. No...

「Great Staff and Management friendly and welcoming, make you feel like home away from home. Parking is right in front of the hotel and there is lots of parking. Rooms are spacious and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Spacious and relaxing lounge and bar area. A mere two-minute walk to the beach and a lovely promenade, for a walk. 」
