While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. "Stayed for one night while travelling around Wales and surrounding area. Can't fault the service or room booked. Room was very warm with only a small table fan provided. The room was directly above the pub, so very lound and noisey with the football on. The food served was very nice and 10% off 👍 I would recommend if staying in the town centre."

"Great location very helpful staff. The only issue I had was with the shower in the bathroom the riser rail kept slipping down the water was extremely hard to regulate either really hot or stone cold. We only stayed the one night so did not complain about it but I heard many of the other guests talking about the same thing. I would say that the problem is probably down to the valve in the shower control not working correctly. Being able to have a refreshing shower after travelling or before leaving is one of the thing's that make a stay either good or bad other than that it is a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay there again."

"Great hotel, food was good. We were group of ten walkers and the staff were very accommodating. Oswestry could be a lovely town to visit, interesting bi buildings and the castle. We would not visit again it’s obvious that the place was been invaded with Eastern Europeans. Loads of the “money” making Turkish barber and the usual vap shops everywhere. The council need to get on top of this. Feel sorry for the legitimate businesses."

"We had a lovely time, just a few things that slightly dampened the experience. Need black out blinds in the family room as the light was streaming through until late and with the heat as well the children couldn't get to sleep until it went dark. The gastro pub food l would give a miss in future, very bland, dry and of poor quality but high prices. We would 100% come back though."
