「The welcome can be more welcoming. The place had a tired feel.」

「Our room was small but we liked the cozy spot and places at hotel to relax and they had a sauna and hot tub and bar next door and a mini bar at the hotel. Staff was great.」

「Pulling up and parking at the property was probably a good indication of what to expect. It was very untidy in this area. Reception was good but our room was not what I expected. It was very disappointing and I made this known to the Manager at Reception. He advised this was the room that I booked but I would not have booked a room like this. It was shabby but he had nothing else」

「In general, it is good enough for travellers. City view with nearby restaurants. Saw a few young staff while checking in. Look like a family-run business. The room is large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is a set rather than a buffet. 」

「This was a solid hotel on our way to Isle of Skye. The construction outside wasn't known until after the booking. And while not horrible, they started moving equipment about 45 min before 8am when the work was to start. We knew it would be rustic and it was. No frills but solid hotel. Beds were very hard though.」

「The Corran was a very spacious , clean. And well appointed accommodation. To get to dinner we used the local ferry which was only a 2 min walk away and free for seniors. The ferry runs about every 10 mins and is very convenient. Breakfast food was available in the fridge and was good. We had a bit of a challenge with the obtaining the key from the lockbox beside the door but once we figured outvhoe it opened it was fine.」

「The room is big, and it has everything you need for 1 or 2 nights stay. Very close to supermarkets, easy to buy groceries for your trip. However, it is slightly far from the high street. It takes some time to walk to the city centre, especially during rain.」
