Homers Hotel

"Pros: great central location across the street from Gwanganli beach. Fantastic views of the beach and the bridge from the room I stayed in. Tons of restaurants, convenient stores, and cafes. Only 10-15 minute walk from the Gwangan #2 line subway station. Great 6th floor terrace with amazing views that's open to use 24/7 (no outside food or drinks allowed- they have a cafe that runs in the evening and self-serve drink machine during the day). Cons: No toiletries for a "4-star" hotel. There's a vending machine with basic necessities on the 6th floor. My biggest complaint is the elevators. There's only two and, at times, I had to wait 10+ minutes (yes! 10 minutes for an elevator is a LONG time!). Overall, I had a great stay."

"I and my friends really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed for six days and whenever we had a question whether it was for more towels or where the closest XYZ was the staff was helpful and attentive and kind at all hours."

"Great to have that observatory deck. Perfect location and big room. However, the sewer smell from the bathroom was hard to tolerate. Sorry! That smell beats everything else. Even an overpriced room at peak times doesn't bother me much, but with that smell. I will not book again."

"The check in was quick and the breakfast good. There was a water fountain and ice machine free to fill up our bottles and a money exchange machine as well. It was very well located, near train station and amenities. The only thing, is that it was quite small room, barely could open the luggage or walk in it. But since we barely stayed in, didn't make much difference"
