"The staff were all very nice and helpful. Rooms appeared to be updated, were clean and had all we needed. The refrigerator was nice because it had a separated freezer. Bathrooms were stocked and clean. Wifi is included and worked well. Breakfast was good nothing fancy but had options. The area was quiet and near stores/ restaurants. They were in the middle of refurbishing the lobby but did not affect us. "

"Very friendly and efficient staff. Cute little bar & outdoor sitting area. Renovations are tasteful. Wish the rooms were better insulated to reduce noise from other guests. Though off the beaten path - easily walkable to historic downtown Raleigh. Coffee was ok. Wish they had some healthier options for breakfast - fruit, yogurt. Though the pastries are divine. Would stay here again. "

"staff was very friendly, Expedia listing parking , but staff said they lost their contract and was trying to update Expedia, lucky the lot across the street had a spot open. Breakfast was good, gym was nice. "

"The hotel was good but one of the reasons I picked this hotel was for the indoor pool and hot tub. The pool was great but the jets for the hot tub were not working the 2 days/nights that I stayed there which was very disappointing. Everything else was fine and the staff was great."

"Don’t expect breakfast even tho it says it’s included unless you want peanut butter and jelly or toast with jelly and butter. Jailhouses have a better breakfast. "

"I've stayed here before and overall I can't complain. The carpet in the room was frayed however on the edging where it went to the kitchen area. I was suprised by that. Staff was friendly overall. Bar staff drink making skills were quite different from bartender to bartender. One young man who has been there for a while was quite good but then the young lady making drinks later, not so much. She didnt seem to care as much as was just putting stuff in, not really caring about the drink itself. "
