"Honestly what stood out was how the staff handled the flooding and then the electricity outage. They managed things well with the generator and had positive, helpful attitudes. They gave great service at the restaurant and great directions and suggestions at the front desk. Everything was handled really smoothly. "

"Clean place, cute bungalows, good food, good location. We used the Ev chargers. They are Tesla and the Tesla app is necessary, but they are universal for other brands of cars by removing their adapter. We would stay here again. "

"Enjoyed the convenience of having amenities like a nice room, fireplace, balcony, bar, restaurant, mini mart, laundry room, and only 35 minutes from Furnace Creek, Death Valley. They even have gas pumps which is great in this desolate area. Really enjoyed our stay…"

"This may not be the place for the snobby, but if you have an open mind and love quirky this is a cool place. It's an old building and has had some trouble from Mother nature lately but it has a charm to it. It has some quirky plumbing tricks but once you have the hot water dialed in the shower feels great after several days of desert camping. It's quiet at night and the bed was comfortable. Next time I will make time for the tour which I hear is real interesting."
