Top Fuefuki Hotel Reviews
Hotel Mt. Fuji
8/10 Good
"Good view of Mt Fuji and near the Lake"
Fujisan Onsen Hotel Kaneyamaen
10/10 Excellent
"This wildly exceed my expectations,"
Lakeland Hotel Mizunosato
10/10 Excellent
"Nice rooms , the private outdoor bath was nice , and it does allow individuals with tattoos to reserve a private onsen."
Resort Inn Fuyo
10/10 Excellent
"Really great place a must visit, local food and activities are great"
Kasuitei Ohya
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed one night at Kasuitei Ooya, and it turned out to be the highlight of our time in Japan. The ryokan gets the traditional experience right without it feeling staged — tatami rooms, yukata, and a real sense of care in everything. Our room had a lake view and a private bath, which our teenagers enjoyed as much as we did. The kaiseki dinner was outstanding: beautifully presented course after course with local ingredients we didn't see anywhere else on the trip, and breakfast the next morning was just as good. The onsen is on the 7th floor, and the same floor has a viewing area where we caught the clearest Mt Fuji view of our stay at sunrise. What tied it all together was the staff. From check-in through to the shuttle back to the station, they were warm, unhurried, and seemed to anticipate what we needed before we asked. If you're deciding whether to build a ryokan night into a Japan trip, this is the place to do it."
Highland Resort Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We chose the hotel as we wanted to visit the Fuji-q highland theme park. It’s a perfect location for this, right next door. Checkin was straight forward. Room was nice and clean, good shower and toiletries. Room had a view into the theme park. Ate breakfast and dinner in hotel, both were good. Lots of choice and reasonably priced. The breakfast room had an excellent view of Mt Fuji on clear days. The hotel also has a free bus outside to get to other locations. We used it to get to the lake and ropeway area. The bus took us to the station where we joined the hop on / off bus lines."
Kawaguchiko Hotel
8/10 Good
"This is an older hotel with a good history and a great location right across from the lake. The staff is unusually good most hotels do not take your luggage to your room anymore so it still has it’s old good habits. I was very disappointed when I called it about 230 for the shuttle bus to the hotel. Took a while for them to answer the phone and then they said they couldn’t come until 3 o’clock because that’s when they start running the shuttle. That is not the kind of service I would expect from a hotel like this. I didn’t mention it when I was there, but the Internet was really bad. I couldn’t count on even getting my email out to my home and overseas in a reliable way. But if I had a choice, I’d probably go back again."
