「This was a hidden gem. Hotels in the area were more than double the price and all charge for parking. This B&B was absolutely wonderful. In a quiet neighborhood and close to downtown. Laura was so incredibly helpful as we had to modify the reservation. She did everything she could to help us. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Will be back!」

Outdoor patio area was sweet as it has nighttime fireplaces lit and is a great place to lounge. Breakfast was delicious with a large variety of options. 「The Conrad is overrated. When it opened a couple of decades ago, it was the talk of the town, perhaps the most luxurious hotel in Indianapolis. It had really rested on its laurels and lost its glamour. The rooms definitely need refreshing and updating. The sauna, steam room, and swimming pool are still top.」

「I went to the front desk to check in, but it turned out the hotel had no record of my reservation. I’m not sure where the mix-up occurred, but they eventually managed to check me in—though it did take quite a bit of time.」

「While we found the staff to be friendly and helpful, the problem with the hotel is the location. It is right next to the bus station, and on a busy street (S. Delaware) that has LOUD cars and motorcycles racing by at all hours of the night. In addition, there is a lot of homeless people around the building. There is an abandoned building across the street on E. Washington and a number of homeless hang out there. We also saw a guy on drugs bent over and just standing there in a daze. I...
