「Warm welcome. Beautifully decorated room with all the necessary features. Very comfortable bed and flexible bathroom (small point- water pressure in the bath could be better). The plunge pool was relaxing with enough chezlongue for all guests. Food was very good with an interesting contrast between Epice and Protege. Would highly recommend for a relaxing breqk or longer holiday. We already considering when we can go back.」

The staff greeting us was also charming and helpful and there were little details throughout this boutique hotel that showed careful and delightful management. The nicest feature was the lighted bath mirror to provide daylight illumination to anyone getting dressed or apply makeup. So many hotels ignore this important function, even the ultra luxe. 「Average stay at a good location close to franschhoek town and also the tram station. Bed sheets didn’t feel clean the first night and we had to request for a change on the second. There’s a small pool however we didn’t really get a chance to use it because there are only a limited amount of beach chairs and guests seemed to be lurking around and jumping to it whenever one became available. Management should consider having a few more chairs there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. 」
