「This was a highlight of our 2-week trip to France. The chatelet and property are just beautiful, and, as a musician, the history of the property was just magical. The host is so welcoming and generous with her advice about local attractions. She made us dinner reservations at a charming bistro that was the best meal of our trip, and sent us on the most wonderful local drive. Breakfast was perfect. If you are near Compiegne, you won’t regret a night or 2 or 3 at the Villa du Chatelet.」

「Cet hôtel est plein de charme, à deux minutes du centre à pied. Oui, la chambre est petite, mais ça vaut vraiment le coup ! Seul regret de ma part : ne pas avoir réservé le dîner au préalable. La terrasse du restaurant est sublime et prise d’assaut des beaux jours. Le personnel est au petit soin. Nous avons passé une nuit magnifique 」

「We picked this hotel (and town) to stay one night because it was close to CDG for a next morning flight. We would now put it on our list of hotels to seek out for a longer stay - and the town is lovely. The rooms were spectacular - great beds, good baths, spacious, quiet, great climate control. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. We will return.」
