Nice pools, great dinner, Federica is amazing, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast could be better or changed up, location is far from everything so you would need a car. The hotel also charge for everything else under the sun which isnt included so the bill can easily rack up.

After needing to book at the Baia Taormina hotel due to a power outage from a storm at our original booking (a Beautiful Bed and Breakfast!) the Baia Taormina turned out to be a very pleasant experience after a very disappointing day. The staff was wonderful including breakfast servers, front desk, housekeeping and our good friends whom served us each night at their very beautiful bar. the 2 pools are very beautiful with a very nice poolside bar and excellent personnel to serve you. As most of the Italian coast (in My experience) The trek to what would be the hotel beach is quite a hike and storm damage from a recent Cyclone made bathing very difficult unless you are young and in really good shape ( The trail down to the beach is quite an experience). There is however a public beach approx. 500 Meters down the road with easy access and some accessible parking if you must get to a beach. Breakfast that was included with accommodation was nothing less than excellent. The lady covering the espresso coffee bar was amazing. Free parking with lots of room was very helpful. This was our last venue stay in Italy and other than the B&B we needed to leave due to the power issue, Baia Taormina had the best parking that we experienced on the Italian southern coast. Location approx 40 Euro cab ride to Taormina center and for a drive to Messina, Mt Etna, or even as far as Ortigia the location is wonderful. Hotel Baia Taormina is an easy choice!
