We were so impressed. Initially booked for one night as a random place to stay on our first night in Sicily. We saw the room, and immediately decided to stay for three nights. I feel like we got the best view of the ocean in Taormina! We swam in the Mediterranean, an easy bus ride down the hill from the hotel. I can not speak highly enough of our stay here.

We highly recommend this hotel for exploring Taormina. A perfectly central location, we walked all over and had access to so many great restaurants and shops. The hotel was charming, our room comfy and clean. The breakfast on the rooftop was outstanding with lots of local foods to choose from. A shout out to Daniele and Emanuele - they were so hospitable and we enjoyed talking to them. And thank you to the two women that worked during breakfast!

Beautiful boutique hotel right in the centre of Taormina. Close to shops, restaurants and easy access to all the major tourist attractions. Breakfast on the terrace is a major highlight as you can see the coastline and on a clear day, full view of Mt Etna. Great food and friendly service. At night the terrace becomes a roof top bar and our bar tender, Manuel was a delight. His cocktails (designed by the man himself) were incredible and if he’s not too busy he will have a good long chat with you about the history of Sicily and just about anything else. He has what we call the Sicilian Charm. But all the staff were amazing and made our stay very memorable.

Taodomus is beautifully renovated boutique hotel with superbly attentive staff. Breakfast on the roof is a feast of elegantly prepared delicacies. It is within the medieval gates of Taormina, a few minutes’ walk from the ancient sites and close to dozens of restaurants, bars and pizzerias. That’s a plus if you love window shopping in dense crowds of tourists. If not, you may want to search for a place off the well-beaten path.

All of the staff were wonderful. The front desk went out of their way to help my boyfriend and I make last minute dining reservations the night of and helped accommodate us with everything we needed. The morning staff, Andrew and Graziana, were very attentive to our needs and extremely friendly. They have a lovely aperitivo set up on their terrace that my boyfriend and I loved, and on Friday night there was a bartender up there who helped us with picking out the most delicious bottle of wine that we had the whole trip. The entire property was clean and conveniently located. Taormina is very busy, so you can hear what’s happening on Corso Umberto, but we liked it. All in all, we’d definitely stay again and absolutely loved this hotel.

Hidden gem in Taormina!

Started with a detailed email that was so helpful and guided us perfectly. Location is just the best- convenient and perfect for someone that is not able to climb too many stairs. Easy check on process. Staff were all respectful and responsive- they couldn’t have been more concerned. Rooms are immaculate and well appointed. Modern amenities throughout, while still honoring the historic decorative elements of Taormina. Beautiful terrace that you could enjoy for Apertivo time and breakfast. Service was impeccable and consistent. Host gave us great dinner advice - off the tourist path. I would highly recommend to any type of traveler.
