"We'd booked this hotel for three nights at the end of May. Unfortunately, we arrived during a heatwave, and the air conditioning was not working. We were unable to sleep, despite being exhausted and sleep deprived after our flight from the United States. We looked into changing rooms and even changing buildings, but the entire hotel had the same issue. The hotel staff was at a loss of what to do, and just kept telling us that it was being worked on but that the system was completely overwhelmed. That's not very encouraging when one has intentionally selected a hotel that advertises air conditioning. We asked if they might have a fan, but they didn't even have that. I overheard several people complaining at reception and all were told that the air conditioning just could not keep up with the demand during the heatwave. It was so uncomfortable that we were forced to find a different hotel for the last two nights of our stay. Looking for a new hotel was not how I had hoped to spend my first day in Germany. Had the air conditioning been working I would have had no issues with this hotel. The breakfast was good, the rooms were sufficient, and the location was good for us. But the air conditioning issue was a deal-breaker. One needs to be able to sleep and that was just impossible."

"Breakfast is decent, a kind of typical American one. The AC vent is open directly right on top of the bed which could cause some headaches (literally). Our bedroom window open towards the inner courtyard so it is very quiet. The street in front of the hotel is extremely busy and noisy. It is not too far from the old town, around 20 minutes walk."

"This hotel is in an excellent location for anyone needing to go by train, since it is next to the train station. It is only about a 20 minute walk to Marienplatz too. It is a beautiful super clean hotel. It also has a friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts are unbelievably great, which have an excellent food and drink selection to choose from. The restaurant is also 5 star quality, white table cloths, super staff and great food. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Hotel Eden Wolfe for an excellent stay. My group loved it. "Room has a mountain cabin decor, but good size and clean. However, it was lacking in practicality-it has a nice bench for sitting but no chair or flat surface/desk (no place to put wallet, purse, keys…), the night stands are 6 inch wide wooden stools- not useful, and the bathroom is on the smaller side and has a opaque window that shines into the room if the bathroom light is turned on at night. And there no phone in the room if you needed to contact the front desk."

"David at the front desk was delightful! He made the stay absolutely fantastic! The room was clean and nice. Air conditioning was great…especially since we had unseasonably warm weather. Centrally located and easy to get anywhere in Munich. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich who wants walkability and quick access to public transportation!"
