"Clean facility, but not much to do in the rooms or our within the hotel itself. Very kind staff and appreciated the proximity to other locations!"

"We love the River Hotel and stay there whenever we are in Chicago. There were two issues this time which were surprising given how perfect they usually are: the tv didn’t seem to work and we were given a double bed instead of a queen. The hotel was extremely busy so we didn’t try to change rooms. Next time we’ll check amenities right away."

"Staying at the property was overall a nice experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful, came with tips and suggestions for things around the hotel, and events happening within. Our room was very clean, and had all the proper things for us to feel comfortable in the room! My only caveats with this property was the accessibility to get an uber (sometimes our location made it quite hard to have a rider confirm amongst our whole friend group). I would also note that checking out and getting down to the hotel lobby was tricky at times. The hotel only had 4 elevators, and multiple instances we had to wait at least a few times to get an elevator that wasn't full. In the grand scheme of things, it's a small little caveat, but I would recommend planning ahead in case you need to be somewhere!"

"Older property but locations is great! One block from miracle mile. Rooftop bar was great. Staff wonderful! Had a fitness center that I didn’t use but it was quite large with lots of equipment. The breakfast buffet was adequate but not spectacular. The bus stop is one block from hotel and runs frequently if you need to go downtown. Also can want subway station to go back and forth from airport. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby!"
