「These pods were super cute and very clean. The heating in it was fantastic and kept us warm on a very cold and wet night. We were provided with the and coffee making facilities and a bag of marshmallows to toast by the fire. Kids really enjoyed it. We could also hear and sometimes see the lions nearby. 」

「Perfect place to stop over prior to ferry or Chunnel crossing. Not too far to walk into town although it’s uphill all the way back. Friendly staff and very welcoming.」

「Great treehouse with buggy. Up early to go around the park with the buggy. Loved the clubhouse bar, toasting marshmallows over the fire. We would return, loved the animals, grounds & restaurants too! 」

Comfortable room everything you need my only one criticism could do with a mini fridge to put water etc in . Shower was great . Very nice stay would definitely come again 」

「Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.」

「Very warm and friendly welcome by all staff with great service and excellent choice of drinks especially there own Plumb Gin. Yummy. Very relaxed about our slightly late arrival. We loved the Innovative and quirky decor throughout. Bed was so comfy and the complimentary port for a night cap,loved it. So nice that there was no TV. In the bedroom too. Complimentary breakfast delicious and plenty food, hot and cold drinks to start your day. Definitely would really recommend staying here....

「We stayied two nights at this hotel The room on the first nigth was 25 C The 2rd night it was 28.5 C So you could not sleep They have a good night garantie Asked at front desk They said to contact the guest relations Contacted them just to find out that first i did not book with them dirrect And that the room temp do not fall under the good night because this hotel does not have airco So what is the point of having a good night garantie 」

「Well located for Shuttle, easy to find, good on site parking. Excellent, helpful reception. Room excellent for this price point - good amenities and comfortable. Huge bed! Breakfast included - cold buffet available from 0400 which is great for early starts, hot from 0600. Will use again.」

「One night stay to visit local family. Very welcoming, met on arrival. Coldest night of the year so far and it was warm, cosy & comfortable. Owners live next door, attached house, easy parking, easy to find. Will possibly be return during 2026, central location for all our needs.」

「Rooms spacious and clean. No Air Conditioning but outside night temp 70 degrees. Had windows to open. Good value for price. 15 minute drive to port to catch cruise ship. Would definitely book again if in area.」
