When we booked we were not aware that check in was a different location but instructions were provided before checkin. Staff were very helpful with storing luggage prior to check in. Room was clean and tidy, but very basic.

We didn’t realize the kitchen area was a shared space and whoever made coffee first woke everyone up! You also need to go to a different building to check in and in theory is an OK idea, when luggage is involved it becomes a bit less OK. Also, we were not able to make the first night of our reservation due to a country wide train strike and after asking via messenger and in person, were offered no credit for our stay. I would have been happy with a 50% refund but the woman checking us in wouldn’t budge. Location is close to many things, all food was amazing, crowds were everywhere!

The staff gave us great directions on where to park and then how to find the main hotel. After checking in, she showed us to the other property where we would stay and showed us how to get inside. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner and made reservations for us. The next morning, she gave us a great recommendation for a breakfast spot. She was very responsive and helpful. The room was spacious and matched the description.

The location of the hotel was great. Very walkable and close to many great restaurants. The layout of the hotel was interesting. It seems like there are two hotel rooms on the floor. You enter the front door into a living room and kitchen (which can only be used by staff), and there are two rooms on the same floor. During our stay, we never met the other guests. Not an issue for us but might be a good to know for some.

This was cool, you should stay here. The addresses in Florence have a color “red or black” attached to them. Be very specific with google maps. Once we found the place the woman at reception was a great help and the place was a very clean, simple comfortable place to stay. Oh and the “convention center” in the listing is Florence central market, like a big beautiful Italian farmers market.👍 Ciao!

Five Stars for Residenza Fanti! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an excellent stay at Residenza Fanti. The location was perfect, basically mid-way between the train station (Santa Maria Novella) and the Duomo (5 to 10 minutes walk from either place). The property was clean and comfortable. The price was excellent. When we go back to Florence our first choice for accommodations will be Residenza Fanti. We would suggest that, if you have mobility issues you stay at their other property, Residenza le Fonticine. It is right around the corner from Residenza Fanti and it has an elevator. Residenza Fanti dos not. We were on the third floor so it was a bit of a workout to get up and down the stairs, which for us was just what we needed. 🙂 Also, the shower in our room was very small, but functional, and one thing that would have made an excellent property just that much better would have been a full length mirror in the room. Overall, I highly, highly recommend Residenza Fanti for your next stay in Florence. This property was about as close to perfect as it gets, excellent value for the money.

Stellar location on famous active street of shops eateries and bars. Basic room, small but everything you need water boiling and tea/coffee packets, nice bathroom and shower, clothes cabinet, a desk and side tables, tv local channels, and small locking safe/vault. Our unit #13 faced out on Faenza street but with a/c on and windows mostly closed it was quiet for sleeping. No elevator and stair railings are open iron can see down all 3 flights (only negative for my vertigo!). Loved the locations, so central, lots to easily get to.

Pleasant stay - Close to everything

It was a pleasant stay overall! Just be aware, the bathroom shower is very small, I literally have to spin on the spot to move around. Other than, I had no issues :)

The place didn't meet our expectations

The photos are a bit misleading - the place looks much better online than in person. The AC in the common area wasn’t working, and we found the remote control without batteries hidden in a kitchen drawer. The AC in our room was also quite weak and didn’t cool the space well, making it hard to sleep comfortably. There was a strong vinegar-like smell throughout the apartment and the room, which took a while to clear out. The check-in process felt just neutral, we didn't feel very welcomed. We were guided to the room and handed a bunch of keys. When we asked which key was for our room, we were told to just try them all ourselves. The location was very good, very convenient for exploring the city, with easy access to the main train station and the airport. Overall, it’s manageable for a one-night stay if you have no other options, but I’d recommend looking elsewhere if you can even for a short visit.

There was absolutely nothing to like about this room other than the location. It was extremely dingy and very unappealing. Worse room I’ve ever had. Every other hotel/B&B, etc has been far better. Everything was old and looked dirty.

Bra standard og størrelse på både rom og bad, bra beliggenhet, stille, innsjekking er på et annet sted men rett rundt hjørnet, behagelig seng. Eneste minus er at det er ingen heis, noe som kan gjøre det tungt å gå opp 2 etasjer med tung koffert.

Lugar bem localizado.. a rua possui varios restaurantes e fica próximo a estação de trem. Atendimento Excelente e muito prestativo! Já pensamos em voltar. Uma dica, não procure ele pelo endereço no GoogleMaps.. ele nos mandou para o local errado. A numeração da rua não segue um padrão.. portanto utilize a referência enviada pelo hotel!!
