Perfect location

This is a great hotel! The location is wonderful, everything is very clean, and there’s a lovely kitchen room with coffee and tea. There are one of two coffee shops in the block where you can get a pastry to go with your coffee! We loved this place and would stay there again!

This Guest House is right in the heart of Florence and close to all the major attractions you want to visit and restaurants. From here, everything is walkable--Dumo, Uffizi, Acadamia, Arno River, San Croce, etc... I cannot stress enough how perfectly situated you to explore pretty much everything you'd want to do here. Check-in was easy. And the room (with A/C) and shared kitchen have all the right touches. .

Good location in a peaceful area on the island of Venice. Cafes and restaurants immediately outside for breakfast and dinner. Mauro, the hotel manager, was very friendly and helpful.

Excellently positioned, very close to Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, Bargello, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio etc. Very kind and helpful receptionists, gave us good advice re local breakfast and dining options. Helped with luggage safekeeping at departure. Always with a smile. Room was clean and pleasant, maintained daily.

We usually prefer to stay in local b&bs instead of large chain hotels. This place was wonderful. We stayed here almost a week. Room size was great, large bathroom, spotless upon arrival. It’s close to everything you want to see and do in Firenze and the hosts are great at staying in contact with you, answering questions, and generally helping with anything you need. The only thing I will say is if you don’t like stairs or have any mobility issues, this is probably not a good choice as the first flight of roughly 20 stairs to the level with the elevator might be rough- especially hauling luggage up it. We didn’t have any issues but I could see how others would not like it. Other than that, highly recommend!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Relais Cavalcanti. Anna, Francesca and the young woman who met us when we arrived were delightful. Our room -Donatello-was lovely with a view of Palazzo Signoria. The location was excellent. Walking distance of most everything we wanted and many restaurants in the area. We would stay here again1

I stayed at Relais with a friend for three nights in early August. The location is very convenient, within walking distance from many major landmarks in Florence. The room was clean and comfortable (the A/C was especially appreciated given the time of year), and the common kitchen area was a nice place to relax and have breakfast on days with a slower start. Anna provided a lot of great suggestions for places to visit and also helped us make a couple of restaurant reservations. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient.

I could not be happier with my stay here. I contacted them via email several weeks before my stay to ask if they would be willing to reserve restaurants for me ahead of time and they were absolutely wonderful about it and booked over 7 restaurants for me. Check in was very friendly, they provided a map of the area wifh recommendations. Cleaned the room every day which was great, cold water in the mini fridge on arrival. Location was excellent in central florence, only 15 min walk from train station and 5 to the Duomo. When my flight got cancelled and i was delayed by a day, they kindly adjusted my reservation so I didn't pay for an extra day even last minute. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
