Friendly staff and hotel. Beautiful building and good restaurant. To bad the wellness center was not open but a nice upgrade of the room compensate that. Unfortunately no possibility for wine tasting due to one other group was book. Should been nice with some flexibility to arrange another tasting. But all in all very pleased with our stay. Good connections by train to Florence👍

The front desk staff were wonderful. Our room was very spacious. I would suggest adding a full length mirror or at least a non-antique mirror outside of the bathroom. The morning breakfast was really well prepared and staff was always very friendly. The evening dinner at the property’s restaurant was where we had the problem. We were the second guests to arrive and were the last of the evening to be served. Items we ordered never arrived but we were charged for. It was a terrible experience. The front desk was very gracious with apologies and offered a free bottle of wine, which was very nice. Lastly, the address leads to the back side of the property on maps which made it a bit confusing when walking in the rain from the train station.

Excellent and helpful staff

We booked 4 rooms for a group of 8 people. The hotel is a winery inside a castle wall (with no nearby plantation) and the rooms are in well condition, spacious and fully equipped. The dinner were included and had a lot of choices and of good standard. The dinner place is a courtyard and was most enjoyable in the October weather. The captain of the restaurant Christian is most helpful. We have to give a special thank to reception staff Jonas. Our transport to the hotel was an electric rental car but the hotel do not have charging facility. We tried to use public charging on the street but was in vain as we did not have payment account. Jonas found and allow us to use a plug in the workshop so that we could charge our car with a converter provided by the rental company. Without Jonas's assistance, we could continue our journey. In all, it was a value for money and enjoyable stay.

I needed a stop on my way to Bolgna from a long trip south. Excellent hotel. Beautiful accommodations with a very friendly staff. Had a very nice dinner as they kept the kitchen open for me. Free parking and reasonably priced. I will return.

This is a top quality hotel. The Building. Terrace and Garden are historical. You can spend an hour just touring and taking pictures in this hotel compound. It has operating winery inside you can joint the scheduled tour. Absolutely an amazing experience for hotel staying.

It is a former nobel family’s villa. Wonderful restorated for 40 years ago by a doctor who baught it. Meny different areas to sit at outdoor and indoor. The rooms was in perfect condition. The staf very friendly. The Villa is so what you want to have when visiting Tuscany. It is just at the edge of the City Figline Valdarno. So you can go out for dinner if you don’t use the hotels restaurant wich was good. The breakfast was standard but okay and had everything you want for breakfast. The have two pools, one indoor with sunbeds outside in the hotel area and an outdoor pool on the other side of the street on a hill. We loved the hotel because it was very nice decorated.

Will not be going back

No kettles in the rooms, no irons only one in a common room and you have to wait for your turn, it was crazy as I had a wedding. Aircon is extremely high and stops if you change the setting from 21 degrees Coffee and room service does not start till 12:30 pm. Breakfast is horrible, barely anything eatable thats a shame for a 4 star in Italy Some of the team members however were very helpful

This hotel was lovely. We did half board which i would recommend. Great food and service. Reception was very helpful when we found our room to be too hot, due to the air conditioning not being turned on to the 1st of June. They moved our room and provided us with a fan. They then spoke to the manager and had the air conditioning turned on early in the main part of the building. Would recommend their wine tasting and tour they offer with in the hotel. 20 mintue walk from the train station as well and a fast train in to florence takes 30 minutes. Very helpful with any issues, Lovely place to stay.
