「Would stay again」

「For what it is and where it is I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Yes it's dated but that's part of the charm of this place. It's vintage vibe was great and was reminiscent of the good ol days of Route 66! The staff was great, the location was great for us! There was a lake that was close enough to walk to and fish in. The early fireflies were so cool to watch as well! We'll return to The Best Budget Inn every single time we are in the area!」

「HORRIBLE place and HORRIBLE customer service! When we arrived, the desk clerk was talking on her cell phone. She saw us and did not end her call or acknowledge us for approximately 15 minutes. We requested a handicap accessible room; however, we were assigned a 2nd floor room and there are NO elevators. We asked for any room available on the 1st floor...because I would not be able to carry my husband up and down the stairs! They claimed not to have any available and refused a refund. We booked...

「The property was well maintained, clean and ample parking. There was no breakfast to speak of, just a single household coffee pot. But it worked out well for the price.」

「My purse was stolen just prior to my arrival at the property; even though I had pre-paid on-line, the check in clerk would not allow me to stay without a driver's license. I had to sleep in the parking lot and still was charged almost $300 for the stay; which I am objecting to on my credit card.」

「Check in was easy. We didn’t have wash cloths and none were available until the next morning. No shampoo, tissue box only had 3 tissues. The floor was dirty and the refrigerator was wired to a wall switch, so we cut the switch off and it caused the refrigerator to cut of and almost ruin our medicine that has to stay refrigerated. Kids that obviously belonged to the manger were loud and playing in the hallway before 9:00 am. I had to dodge balls, kids, and riding toys in the hallway.」

「Such a welcoming and friendly front desk staff. Stayed only one night while in town for a wedding in early May. The room seemed to have some updates such as charging plugs on the sides of bed, and laminate flooring - cleaner than carpet. It was a nice stay!」

「Breakfast was well diverse. Hot food, breakfast sandwich, bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles, oatmeal and dry cereal. All tasted delicious. The air conditioning is run from the wall across the room from the air conditioner, just like at home. well done and cool Cannot say enough about the staff: helpful, kind, friendly. everything was well run and smooth. 」

「Breakfast was very limited for the price it should have been much better no fried potatoes biscuit and gravy no pancakes waffles that are very less likely. Hotel was under construction checked in at night when morning came it looked like in abandoned Hotel construction everywhere gutters hanging off it was a mess. But staff was nice pillows were extra soft for my liking. I might try again once renovation is over. Doing renovation they should not charge $160 a night that's ridiculous. I would not...
