"Be aware that this is a residential property without your own entrance. It is in a shabby and unsafe feeling part of town and the pictures are not representative of the property at all. Owners uncontactable in any way. As a single traveller, I did not stay here as i felt very unsafe on arrival. Expedia are yet to support me in the process and i ended up paying for a second property."

"The room I had was roomy and clean, bathroom/shower again clean and spacious. Equipment and white goods suited my needs. Entrance to the room a little dark as outside lights didn't react early enough. Overall I would book again if in that area."

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. "A lovely hotel with a friendly team of staff. Access to the spa was a great bonus. The food was really good and welcome drink a nice surprise. We ate in the restaurant both nights. The Courtyard was a lovely space to take your drink. Good location. I would recommend a stay at this hotel. "

Our room was so far away from reception area….I went for a jog and started at the room and covered almost 500m before I reached the lobby! A guest laundry would have been most helpful."
