"Room was clean but housekeeping lacking, lots of dust in room, experienced skin allergies , requested bedding to be changed after first night, only one bed bedding got changed, had to request again on 2nd day, no house keeping on 2nd day, had to request emptying of bins/towel request, final night bedding and room cleaned. Breakfast is basic and unexciting, scrambled which egg does not taste like eggs, , limited veg options, staff are very friendly & helpful "

"The inside of the hotel is far nicer than it looks from the outside. We booked a dog friendly family room. The room was clean, the beds comfy. The bathroom was well fitted and the shower was really poweful, which was pleasing. Overall very happy. The breakfast was quite nice, with good quality ingredients. Two 'even better if' s'. 1) The coffee in the morning was not good. It was dispensed out of a big urn. Not great quality/choice and not hot. 2) squeeky floorboards. I would stay there again. "

"I paid for a family room as it was my wife and my son travelling for a football tournament. I paid around about £192 for the room for one evening. When we got into the room, there were no lamps or bedside table lamps. I asked at reception if we could get a lamp, as I like to read at night before I go to bed, and was told the only light available was the ceiling lights. They did not have any spare. I can't believe a hotel does not have table lamps or bed lamps, or that they could not accommodate me. I had to go and buy one from Tesco for the night, which was very disappointing. I have never in all my years been to a hotel where they do not have table or reading lights, and we have to rely upon using the large light in the ceiling. "
