「This place is incredible! An amazing cliffside setting with direct access to the emerald water of the Mediterranean. However, because of its setting, there are a lot of stairs (not for those who are out of shape). There are 165 steps down to the accommodation from the main road (staff helped with luggage) and another 300 steps down to the water. 「The staff were so welcoming, kind, thoughtful and truly magnificent. We were in Shannon for a dear friends funeral and while that was very difficult the staff made it so much easier. Carrygerry country house is so beautiful, it is cosy, the mattress and pillows were so comfortable and the room was spotless. Their attention to detail was second to none. I would stay here again in a heart beat, very well done to all the team, this is hospitality at its finest !! 」
