"Very nice room in a historic hotel. The oldest hotel on the Iberian Peninsula. Great location with available self parking and next to town. Nice restaurant and breakfast. "

"Staff was very accommodating, and were able to store my baggage for the day while I went out to explore. Note that the hotel is in the driving restricted historic center, so likely your taxi or tuktuk will drop you off on the main road, and you'll have to walk 5 minutes to the hotel. Breakfast was small, but had everything we needed for a healthy start to the day. Room size was good, and bed was very comfy. Adjoining bathroom was quite large, with a comfortably sized antique rain shower that was set very high to accommodate any basketball player-sized guests. Room did come with a heater, which I appreciated. "

"Great location near the train station, right on the border between the old town with the scenic views and beautiful hikes, and the modern city centre. Great big room with loads of space, lovely bathroom, little kitchenette corner with a microwave, table, chairs, etc. Loved staying there. "

"The apartment was great, very clean, great location! We also loved the amenities- free water and a storage room for luggage should you arrive early or want to stay later in Sintra. If I travel here again, I would stay again! "

"Everything was great. The location was walkable to all attractions and the staff and breakfast were wonderful. Bed and bedding were good. The only thing to understand before booking is that it’s a charming converted mansion so sound proofing may not be the best and some rooms might feel a bit tight, especially if you’re a larger person. "Just the best. Fabulous grounds and breakfast. Mildew smell in room was a bit off putting and the heater did not work but we loved the grounds and garden."
