Very nice room in a historic hotel. The oldest hotel on the Iberian Peninsula. Great location with available self parking and next to town. Nice restaurant and breakfast.

Small, boutique hotel that had numerous cosy seating areas and lounges. We were upgraded to a suite and had a separate lounge. Just beautiful in every way. Black out shutters, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Host was super friendly and helpful. Restaurant food out rounding and much better than local village. Couldn’t get a more perfect location. Walk down the hill 5 minutes to the village of Sintra and up the hill 5 mins to the Iniation Well and Palace. Cannot fault this place.

What a beautiful little place. I had read about how difficult parking is in Sintra. We pulled up in front of the hotel where there were four spots sanctioned off. We were told it's OK to park there over night. The hotel was quaint, clean and the staff was beyond hospitable. This hotel is centrally located and you couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Loved the history of the hotel, the history is maintained yet was still modern. The bar area was really enjoyable after a long drive to get there. 3 hotel parking spaces available, we got lucky and got one. Would stay there again.

Stay here when you visit Sintra

The is a beautiful hotel. Historic, but with all the modern amenities a guest would need. The guest rooms are well appointed, and our room had a fantastic view of the forest. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had dinner here and it was delicious! Parking is available, which is a real plus in Sintra.

Perfect location in Sintra, old world charm to the entire Hotel. Staff were so friendly, the dining room was amazing and the food was to die for!! The Chef and Maître D were there to make your dining experience perfect, so nice! Would not stay anywhere else, this Hotel was perfect!

In the fairytale town of Sintra, surrounded by palaces and castles on all its many peaks, the Lawrence’s Hotel is the best place to rest and recuperate after a day of touring. Charming stay in a historic hotel

We were given a lovely upgrade to a suite with a very nice view. The bathroom however should undergo some renovation and I was cold. A warm duvet on the bed would have been nicer than just a thin blanket. But the. Again it was unusually cold and wet outside

Loved this hotel. Small and quaint, lovely staff, clean rooms with beautiful views. Good on site restaurant with excellent wine list. Highly recommend if you plan on an overnight stay in Sintra.
