Hotel is listed as having onsite parking, which it doesn’t, except for checking in and out, with a pass for a nearby garage (5-10 min walk downhill to get there and uphill to get back). Staff shared they’ve tried to update the listing but Expedia is failing to update.
Highlights:
Super attentive and lovely staff, provided suggestions and tips for local activities and restaurants, and pointed to street parking close to the hotel (we were fortunate to arrive in the evening when there was space).
Handwritten note to welcome us, and chocolates left by housekeeping.
Free water provided daily.
Breakfast included is great, especially freshly made orange juice and delicious fruit.
Great location in town center, short walk to Quinta de Regaleira, shops and good restaurants.
Double glazed windows offered a quiet room, and the view from the room was beautiful, particularly at sunrise and sunset.
Not so great:
Mattresses were awful, and pillows just ok. We woke up sore both nights.
Breakfast space is small and gets very crowded.
There was some sort of rusty gunk in the panel to flush the toilet, quite off putting.
Shampoo and conditioner bottles were almost empty.
Carpets are dated, stained, and the room had a funky smell.
On balance, quite expensive for what it offers - €250 per night.
