Small details like the layout, outlets by the bed, and well chosen furniture make it easy to settle in. The gym is also much better than what I usually see at hotels, with enough machines and weights for a proper workout. What makes the biggest difference, though, is the service. "In the 'real' Shanghai beneath the high-rise buildings, seeing people as they go about their day, back from main roads. AC was a it strong, especially in the bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Tao and May. Some maps/brochures/helpful tourist information would be good. I would recommend this place to anyone."
