We had a room on the street side which made it a little bit noisy during the night but not to distrurbing.

"It is a brand new hotel finding its feet. The staff are super friendly. The breakfast is plentiful Danish breakfast, the evening buffet ar 165DKK is very good value. The tram to town centre at 4e return is a practical and fast means of transport to the museums, shops and restaurants. We would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a clean and comfortable bed and room."

"Munkebo is a lovely place. However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. The receptionist was not very responsive when I asked if only upstairs was available but continued to just walk upstairs.
The room was very adequate and we really enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. Next day we needed to check out early to be able to return our rental car in Copenhagen and at 7:30 am there was no one at the desk to check us out. Breakfast starts at that time so the morning kitchen person was kind enough to let us pay the bill. He told us the receptionist would not arrive until 8 am. As this is an upscale establishment I would have expected better service in this area. "
