"I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and it’s always my first choice when I’m in the area. I know what to expect here and generally always have a lovely stay. This time I did have a bit of an issue getting a late checkout. I had to push quite a bit for it, as initially the staff didn’t seem keen to allow it even though rooms were available. It was eventually sorted, which I appreciated. I then had a couple of issues with the key cards not working, but these were dealt with quickly and everything was sorted within around 15 minutes. Overall, still a lovely hotel and somewhere I’ll continue to come back to. The issues were a little frustrating at the time, but they wouldn’t stop me staying again."

"Superb hotel, great location for ourselves, 3rd time visiting and we love this hotel. Room was lovely and clean, we chose to overlook the pool area. Breakfast is outstanding, probably the best you can get. Staff and housekeeping are are great, super professional. I’d highly highly recommend this hotel, we couldn’t fault it."

"I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The welcome was warm and friendly, and I felt very well taken care of from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and everything was fresh and delicious. The only small thing I would have preferred was to have two chairs on the balcony instead of the lounge sofa. It would have been lovely to sit outside together and enjoy the balcony. However, this was only a minor detail and did not affect my overall experience. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. With two chairs on the balcony, it would have been absolutely perfect!"

"This hotel has become a firm favourite. It was only slightly marred this time by repairs being needed to one of the pools, which was noisy and very dusty on site near the pools for about 3 days. The buffet is highly recommended, and views from the restaurant are stunning. Great staff. Great for a complete rest."

"We would rate our stay at this hotel 4/5 stars overall. I want to preface this review by saying that some of the things I mention are definitely nitpicking, but that is largely because this is a five-star hotel. When you are paying for a five-star experience, you naturally expect the smaller details to be taken care of as well. None of the issues we experienced completely ruined our stay, and we genuinely enjoyed many things, but there were enough small disappointments that I think they are worth mentioning for anyone considering a stay here. We stayed in a standard “Melia Room,” which was nicely decorated and had a pleasant overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, the location of our room was one of the things that made the stay slightly less convenient. Our room was located at the far end of the hotel, and the other window overlooked the parking lot. Because the hotel is so large, getting from our room to the main areas of the property involved quite a bit of walking. The room itself was attractive and comfortable, but the bathroom was where we felt it needed a bit more attention to detail. The toilet was quite difficult to flush, which was inconvenient, and there was some mildew in the shower. We stayed on a half-board basis, which gave us the opportunity to experience some of the hotel's themed dinner nights. The Asian night left something to be desired, and the dishes were inconsistently clean. We also had one frustrating experience with the front desk regarding the shuttle."
