Amazing stay great place staff exceptional the 2 reception girls always looking to help..
Great events of a night…
Good excursions….
Great value for money
10 from me thanks to all the staff
Nothing unique, stayed before. Nice chill out areas near the pool areas. Sadly, cliental seems to use the hostel as a party hostel, people drifting in the rooms early hours of the morning, disturbing people sleeping and then those coming in late wanting to sleep in the day time.
We stayed only one night and only used the room and the bathroom but it seemed that everything was kept clean and there was a calm atmosphere amongst the other travellers. We had a private room which was fine in the size, a bit too soft bed but we slept fine anyway. They had put a bottle of scent in the room which is a nice thought but it were way too strong even after we put it outside 🙈 We had a small shared balcony which were fine and were used to dry beach/pool wear. The hostel is located in a quiet area, but very close to restaurants, shops, there is a market every Thursday and Saturday which have everything you can imagine and the Fanabé Beach is 15 min of walk. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is busses close to the hostel.

Disliked: Staff & service
Amazing location, good place, rude staff
The hostel is cool, area is great and easy access to beach but not too touristic area, the hostel has a pool and a spa so all in all good. The staff though was rude on several occasions, and not really interested in making people feel welcome. Not the good hostel vibe. There was also apparently a bed bug problem - I didn't see it, but other hostels asked us to wash our clothes before we came to them.
Must complement the staff…. So friendly
Lucia (ma) receptionist the best can’t do enough for you (Very patient
Pizza nights amazing with Leo….
Lucia so helpful and very friendly
DJ night excellent with Rachel….
And surf instructor great guy and always happy……
The facility’s for the price is second to none
Pool heated….
Excursion brilliant activities every day
So to sum up my stay 10 out 10
I love the building, it's like a huge villa with nice places to chill in the sun, pool or hammock! You have two nice equipped kitchens to use. Every evening is an dinner event with different foods, if you're too lazy to cook :)
The staff is cool, but there are so many volunteers, so that you got the feeling you're an guest in a big family! Not all of them are really nice. The one Arabic looking girl never said hello or good morning, that's strange for an hostel! The best one was Tania, talked to every one!
First ever stay in a hostel & I enjoyed every moment. I felt safe, comfortable & relaxed the whole time. Nest felt like a little community & everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable equipped with a curtain for privacy and a small shelf for your phone next to a plug socket and lamp. As well as a storage area for belongings ( just take your own padlock). The communal room I was in backed out straight onto the pool area & staff were very good and strict with making sure people left the area after 11pm for those that want a quiet night sleep ! There was also a jacuzzi near the out door kitchen which was a lovely touch as well as plenty of bathrooms & kitchens so I never once had to wait around to use facilities. The location is only a 10min walk from the beach and near to lots of restaurants & entertainment. I personally went to Tenerife to scuba dive which I enjoyed very much and nest is within 20 mins from a few dive schools which is handy! I will definitely be returning, just like many others that I met! Some people had been going every year for several years! It was great to see such a range of nationalities & even huge age differences that were staying at nest ! Overall a lovely place to stay.
Best hostel ever. Made a million friends, the private room was cheap and had a breezy gorgeous balcony with a view. Has a pool, group activities, great location to walk to the sea. Highly recommend.
This was a great place to alot of the south Island amenities. Was easy place to get clothes washed for a less expensive rate and a good place to cook some food on your own accord. 1 st time ever at hostel but is better than the others in area I tried a different one definitely not as good as this one
Limited parking. They had my car towed away! No breakfast provided (a very few buns per day) only saw them once. It is a money making machine for the owner..avoid.
At the reception desk they told me that I had booked the wrong room, the rooms were dirty, they were not cleaned, the service was not nice, after two days I was suddenly moved to another room.
