Okay. Everyone says that it is VERY expensive to go to Ek' Balam since prices have gone up. Go and have fun! Get a guide! Bring a swimsuit and go to the cenote! Splurge! Eat at the restaurant next to the cenote ($10 for one dish of cochinito pibil, 2 beers and an agua de tamarindo), and then take a siesta in the hammocks and go back to the cenote. We rented bikes from the ruins to the cenote and it was an easy 15 minute ride. In the end, we had a wonderful day and no crowds.
