We had a room in the far back of the hotel with a small terrace and an outdoor bathing pool. The room was beautiful, comfortable and very quiet. Great air-conditioning. The hotel restaurant was amazing. Food was great and the staff-the best. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend the hotel. It is a short taxi ride into town.

A lovely little boutique hotel

Hotel Sutuk is a lovely little boutique hotel located on the outskirts of Valladolid. The central courtyard is a lush garden of tropical plants surrounding a little pool, and the 8 rooms are large with very high ceilings. We appreciated the restrained and luxurious update to the original, historic building. We also really enjoyed the subterranean swimming pool modeled after a cenote and heated to a comfortable temperature. It's a great place to relax after a day exploring the area on foot. A special shout out to Perla who seemed to run the place single-handedly on New Year's Day. She is a real asset to the hotel. Where the hotel could improve is in the restaurant. It's good but not great. As one little example, they don't offer any white wines by the glass, only red. The prix fixe New Year's Eve dinner was steak and a half a baked potato served just above room temperature (not hot), with a garnish of a couple little batons of steamed carrot and a floret of cauliflower that were coated in an oil that left an unpleasant aftertaste. No need to belabor this lack of imagination. It did not diminish our overall experience, and we heartily recommend the hotel.

The hotel had wonderful facilities, in terms of the comfort of the rooms, the beautiful garden and the helpful And friendly attitude of the staff, especially the reception who were extremely helpful. The only downside was the distance from the hotel to the centre by foot along a busy main road. The hotel were very good at arranging taxis in to town but a ‘shuttle’ service might have been useful.

Bonito hotel

El hotel boutique está súper lindo, nos sorprendí bastante la casona, la alberca y vapor que tienen está bien agradable. La terraza de la habitación y la regadera lo máximo. Me gustó mucho.
