Holiday Inn Edinburgh by IHG
Second time I have stayed here. Very convenient for Edinburgh, with a bus stop right outside the door. Bar area and breakfast were very good. Parking is limited and you may not always find a space. The pool area is basic but satisfactory.

ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge - Royal Mile
From value for money point of view, I rank this property a bit on low side. But I keep in mind that overall price levels of Edinburgh hotels are high.

Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh
I gave a 4 star rating only because the room was small for what we paid, but nicely appointed and clean. Great toiletries (and even a wash cloth which was a pleasant surprise). We had the buffet breakfast and the service and variety was excellent.
