Room was clean, staff was very kind and helpfull, i’d recommend. Rooms were tiny, but that’s something we were aware of before booking, so no issue there. If i were to complain, i’d suggest adding a cleaning brush for the toilet in the rooms, as that is something that was missing, and is not fun when you cannot clean the toilet.

Frokosten var kjedelig. Lite utvalg, kun brød med begrenset utvalg tilbehør (Nutella, syltetøy og honning), samt croissanter og yoghurt. Zimmer sehr klein, aber zweckmäßig und recht sauber. Super Aussicht über die Stadt (wir waren im 6. Stock). Leider beim Doppelzimmer nur eine Bettdecke und weitere gibt es nicht. Frühstück sehr überschaubar, etwas Süßgebäck und Toast, Müsli. Die Lage ist aber hervorragend, fußläufig zum Bahnhof Haymarket, auch Edinburgh Castle ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Personal ist freundlich. Wir würden wieder kommen, man sollte aber keinen Luxus erwarten.

Das Hotel und das Zimmer waren insgesamt sehr schön und super gelegen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten aus Versehen ein barrierefreies Zimmer gebucht, was aber nur passiert ist, weil wir über einen Zweitanbieter gebucht haben. Im Bad war die Heizung in der Wand, die leider manchmal laut geknallt hat – auch nachts. Außerdem war das Waschbecken verstopft und das Wasser ist nur langsam abgelaufen. Ansonsten war aber alles top, und wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit!

The rooms are modern although I would change the side of the soap to wash hands to be beside the sink. The WiFi service was great and easy to connect. Missed some eggs and/or sausages and/or bacon in the breakfast but nice place to have the breakfast. Convenient location close to bus and TRAM stops

Het hotel is basis. Bij aankomst was de jongen achter de balie verrast dat ik 4 nachten bleef, want meestal bleven gasten maar 1-2 dagen. De eenpersoonskamer was vrij ruim, maar er is geen kastruimte om je kleren weg te leggen uit je koffer. Dus ik heb de andere kant van het bed maar gebruikt om m'n kleding neer te leggen. Badkamer is ruim, maar basic. Douche gedeelte afsluiten met een douchegordijn, anders is de ruimte helemaal nat (alles op 1 vloer). Er is geen telefoon om bij vragen o.i.d. de receptie te bellen. Je hebt maar 1 klein uitklaptafeltje om spullen op te zetten en een klein plakje met daaronder hangmogelijkheid voor overhemd/trui etc. Als je je kamer schoongemaakt wil hebben of je wilt nieuwe handdoeken, dan moet je voor 12.00 uur dit aan het personeel doorgeven, ze doen dit niet uit zichzelf. Het ontbijt is zeer basis en zeer beperkt. Het ontbijt wordt klaargezet in het bar gedeelte van het hotel. Er is geen ontbijtzaal o.i.d. Het staat her en der in de bar verspreid en is zeer beperkt. Dit vond ik het grootste nadeel. Voor wat ik betaald heb voor de reis had ik echt meer verwacht. Een pluspunt is wel dat het hotel op 15 minuten lopen is van de Royal Mile, Grassmarket en Dean Village.
