"Small Roykan but facilities are well equipped. Wide-view of the Lake and location is silent, but no shopping nearby. You'll love the silence and peace atmosphere. Around 10 rooms here so the public bath not a big one, while in-room onsen bath with lake view is the best."

"今回で4度目のおごと温泉でした。 こちらの旅館の、ホスピタリティの高い対応には感動しました。 担当して頂いた仲居さんは、夜ご飯、朝ごはんの時の説明が丁寧で、時に笑いもありで楽しく、美味しくいただけました。 温泉の湯も、晩朝と2回入れてとてもツルツルになってリラックスできました。 朝ご飯の後は、フリードリンクのコーヒーや紅茶の種類も沢山ありまったり過ごせました。 送迎のバスの運転手の方の、駅で最後までお見送りも丁寧で嬉しかったです。 人気の犬のまめたろうくんも可愛かったです。 すべてのスタッフの方の笑顔での対応に、また来たいなと思う場所でした。 "

"This is a very local non touristy village. We enjoyed the hospitality (even if we couldn’t communicate) The owner helped accomadate my sea food allergy. We really liked the hot bath available in the beautiful water. The only thing I would say is that it isn’t close to anything and you have to walk about 22 minutes to the train "

"Very tradition Ryokan (Japanese Hotspring hotel) with all the warm welcoming and attentive service you could ask for. The Ryokan only has few rooms So that they could serve the guests with the best quality! The hot spring is not as big as expect but still with very good quality. Definitely one of the finest Ryokan I have ever stayed!"

"Traditional ryokan with futons and a sunken dining area, where you have to remove your shoes once you enter the ryokan (much like what you do when you visit any home in the far east). However, it still has a modern private bathroom and toilet for creature comfort. Most of all, the hosts showed great hospitality and attention to detail when it comes to service.
