「Stay was okay to good. We have been once before and the room we booked ended up being above the disco room so not the best for sleeping but otherwise good. Returned this time we were at the back of the hotel but found the walls were thin so could hear group of girls chatting and laughing until early hours. Positives: Lovely setting. Outdoor pool looked georgous. History of building hasn't been forgotten. Walks looked good, weather...

「Poor service upon arrive from girl on reception’s She had wandered off to the bar to chat. Leaving my elderley parents waiting at reception, calling the hotel and unable to check in until they went to find her. They reported she was rude and unhelpful. Room was good, comfy beds and nice area. 」

「A fabulous property within the Peak District National Park, serving good food & beer, but also easily accessed from Sheffield too. A short drive from the Ladybower Dam for Dambuster fans & the Snake Pass for those who may enjoy the drive to Glossop & back !」

「Lovely warm, clean and cosy accommodation in a beautiful village. We travelled early in the week in low season, so the pub understandably wasn't open on Monday and Tuesday, Also there is very poor sign for mobile phone and data and we were unable to get the wi fi password, which made contact for work a bit difficult. Otherwise great stay, would visit again 」
