「Claire was very welcoming. The room was spacious and clean with a view of the beautiful garden. She did a typical English breakfast which was delicious with fresh fruit and other goodies. I would recommend.」

「It was an old characterful building with many original features. It was evident from the certificates and photos around the place that it had been a hotel & restaurant of note with award winning credentials. It isn’t a shiny glitzy hotel but equally the decor was quite tired and patched up in places. 「What a lovely find , spend only one night but I was very impressed , the bar garden is delightful , my room was very comfortable with lots of room . Dinner and wine were on the expensive side , but worth it for a treat . Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area !」

「Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa..
