"This small, boutique hotel was an amazing find in Sydney. Located a short distance from the gates of garden Island naval dockyard and the famous 'Harry's Cafe de Wheels' it is a perfect spot for the short term visitor. I arrived at the hotel at 0900 straight from a cruise ship, and was delighted to find that a room was available, even though the Manager, Richard, assured me that usually the occupancy rate for this property is, understandably, very high. The reception area comprised a lovely marine themed lounge and rest area, which was nice. The hotel offered not only free wifi but a complimentary, self-serve full English breakfast, which was delightful. The bedroom was comfortable too, with plenty of amenities provided. All this for just $134 per night and close by the Royal Botanical Gardens makes this the ideal stop over. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From now on it will be my 'go to' hotel in Sydney."

"Really enjoyed my stay - its a hidden gem in Potts Point. Great value for money - especially if you have a dog coming. - Dog friendly in the Terrace rooms - they charge $65 extra a night for pets. (It was so nice to have this Terrace too. ) - the service was responsive and Donia was so helpful. - close to lots of great cafes and restaurants - easy to get around by foot, train and Uber’s - decent sized rooms with little fridge, microwave. - bathroom was shared but its right outside your room door and I never saw anyone else in the four days. - portable air con that lets you put an ice block in to pump out cooler air. It did get hot when Sydney soared into the mid-30s. My only caution for some people is that there are only stairs up to the rooms. And it’s in a busy and vibrant area so there is noise."
