"It was a really good stay! They have a three bed room and it was so convenient. The view from the lodge reception is incredible that we were hardly in our room. All the staff were really welcoming and we made friends with them all, making the stay so much better!"

"Ishara Lodge was one of the best places I've found to stay in Arusha. The property is incredible with so many nice walking paths among the beautiful trees and beautiful gardens. The staff were unbelievably helpful with every one of our needs and kept us comfortable the whole time. "This is a great hotel right in the middle of Arusha. Good breakfast, spacious rooms and a big beautiful garden to wander through. Take advantage of happy hour in the Hatari Bar.
A few notes: Arusha is a busy, noisy city and you're right in the middle of it. Don't expect rooms near the road to be quiet. Doesn't bother us as we live in a busy city, but might bother you if you're not used to it. The front desk will arrange a driver for you to take you wherever you need to go, but there are a few decent coffeeshops/restaurants you can walk to, as well."
