「Parking was great, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Room had a few issues. Hairdryer was off the wall and not put back on, wasn’t notified about it prior, there was a few minor housekeeping issues. But for the price of the room it was fine」

「-Great value for price. -Right on the main street, but on a quiet courtyard. Refurbished (recent?) with all hard surfaces. Tasteful artwork, walk in shower, ice, mini fridge, microwave but NO VENDING. Many TV options. One small chair. -I would not want to 'stay' in this room for any length of time, but for a 'home base' or 'sleep and a shower' you can't do much better.」

「I have stayed at the Lucerne multiple times now and each time has been enjoyable! The rooms are clean, spacious and the hotel has great character. The food is pretty solid and the value is amazing.」

「New carpet in hallways. Like the breakfast but not enough seating had to eat in the Lobby . Staff friendly . Happened to see laundry room as door was open As we walked to breakfast. I question the cleanliness of the sheets, the washer was so packed with sheets I don’t think any water could get in the washer at all」

「The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.」
