「Overall house and our “Blue Notes” room was immaculate. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and different for the duration of our 5-night stay. Host Sam could not have been more attentive or thoughtful. He sat with us every morning to chat and inquire about our agenda for the day. He made value-added suggestions. We enthusiastically recommend this B&B. Also centrally located to downtown Halifax and scenic spots in this area of the province. (Laundry facilities available.) several thumbs up!」

「I appreciated that the owner let us check in early, and the coffee area and yogurt juice water are appreciated. My negatives: bed very uncomfortable with a terrible mattress, no insulation so sound from other guests very noisy, other guests talking until very late on the deck was very inconsiderate, we had to be up at 5 and they were up till well after midnight. I woke up with a sore stiff back and no sleep and quite grumpy (my husband not impressed at all). Also the bathroom sink is plugged.」

「Had a lifetime experience at a heritage house. House has heritages characteristics with older furnitures and floor sounds. Hospitality in this place is exceptional, luggages being helped, amazing breakfast and music! Best breakfast we had in any of the breakfast included hotel and inn!」

We stayed in the Sunrise suite and were surprised at JUST how how open the door plan was - there was no partition whatsoever between bedroom and bathroom, and had a full view of toilet and shower from our bed. This would be a lovely room for a single person, but an awkward setup for two people, as there was no privacy for bathroom use. 「We were met at the B&B by Mike, one of the two friendly owner/hosts, a lovely couple from South Africa. He made my husband and I feel welcome and at ease after a difficult drive through very heavy rain. We discussed Parrsboro, the theatre that night, eating as plant based vegans. Mike was knowledgeable, positive and immediately told us not to worry he'd have breakfast ready at their usual 08:30 to 09:30 time. 「This is an outstanding bed and breakfast with a friendly and helpful host. Proximal to Burntcoat Park for experiencing the Bay at low tide. And you are able to watch the tidal bore from the deck of the BNB. The breakfast was great too! I highly recommend.」
