「This was a last minute booking and was well worth the 8 hour drive to get to Armadale. Cottage was fantastic and felt immediately cosy and homely. The area is spectacularly beautiful- we will be coming back!」

There’s lovely little bar and restaurant a couple minutes up the road where you can grab dinner. Note - this part of the island is really away from it all which makes it wonderful. 「We enjoyed the dining options which were breakfast included and then the dinners. The dinners were delicious with a great atmosphere. The room was well set for our family of 4 and the bathroom was very clean and functioned well. Parking was convenient with no concerns. Had a great time and hope to return. 」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」
