「For this level of stay I would expect shampoo and conditioner in the shower, face cloths, selection of tea (not just loose bags pushed in a cannister) and better blackout curtains. Having said that we had a lovely room with fabulous view.」

「We had a great time at this hotel. We were there 2 nights and it was very easy to get in the car and see all of Isle of Sky from there. The property was under some construction but they did a good job of keeping it mostly away from the rest of the hotel. 「Truly enjoyed my stay here. What stood out was how helpful the staff were! We had a delayed flight which resulted in us arriving long after check in period had closed. We called the hotel and communicated our worries. They were more than accommodating and allowed us to check in and left instructions to make it a smooth process. 「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent.
