「Arrived to a friendly welcome. Fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Being in a small side street meant that it was quiet at night. Our room was a comfortable size for the two of us. A clever use of space. The air con was appreciated. There are a number of steps up to the property, so beware of this when carrying a case. Hosts were a wealth of information on things to see and do. "On the first night of my stay, the showerhead broke halfway through my shower, and the water temperature was hard to control. I ended up finishing the shower in a very awkward and uncomfortable way. Later, when I was about to go to sleep, I found that the air conditioner remote had no batteries, so I had to go the whole night without any air conditioning. When I told the hostess, she assumed I was the one who broke it. Upon checkout, she asked me for €20 for the city tax, even though I had already given it to her husband on the first day. Her response was, “Oh! Maybe I forgot!”"
