The room was old and lighting was dim, or does it want to show the traditional Arabic style? If not, the wall should be repainted. The room was tidy but not clean enough. The toilet seat was not clean and I found stain of pee on it ! Towel for covering the floor next to bath was not provided so the floor in the toilet was very slippy. The water was not hot enough. Remember to bring shower cap, toothbrush and toothpaste as they are not provided. The location is good and is closed to a metro station. Heritage House and a School are located next to the hotel. They are museums in small scale. Entrance is free, and you can enjoy free Arabic tea and coffee inside the Heritage House. Except a cafeteria, no restaurant (I have spent much time to search it but in vein), but there are many food trading companies nearby. The hotel could provide pick up service from the airport but I forgot to book it in advance. Because of flight delay, when I arrived in the Dubai International Airport, the metro service stopped, so I had to take a taxi to the hotel which cost around us$13.

totally worth booking
This hotel provides what most of 5-star hotels in Dubai cannot - flawless service of cheerful and helpful personnel, tasty breakfast, unique interior design, quiet neighborhood, metro station in less than a minute walk. İt was quite pleasant stay, probably gonna book again

古い民家を改築したゲストハウスなので、ピカピカの清潔さを求める方には向かないかもしれません。しかし、駅からの近さ、各種スークや歴史的建造物へのアクセスは抜群ですし、スタッフの丁寧な対応は素晴らしかったです。 特に朝食はしっかりしていて、この値段でこれだけのサービスを受けてよいのか?と思うほどでした。 建物が新しくないので、窓が実質はめ殺しになっていたり、エアコンの調整が簡単でなかったりしますが、それを理解できる方にはおすすめのゲストハウスだと思います。

Character hotel - walk to souks
Wonderful decor - lots of character - the stay became an experience. a few minutes walk to the Souks, the Abra boat or the metro. The staff were just lovely. Great air conditioning. A super restaurant right next door.

Beautiful space, mixed staff
The night staff is super helpful. However, the lady during the day is not. The first day we were there, she literally rolled her eyes when we pay the hotel fee with a bigger bill. When asking for restaurant recommendation, she was super curt. She also didn't mention that we need to leave the key to get the room cleaned so we didn't have the room clean both days we were there. Other than that, the space is beautiful and room was comfortable even though it was super hot outside. Good location to explore the souk.

What I love about this hotel is that it gives me an experience of old UAE. The location is perfect--the souks and public transportation are close. The staff are the best, especially Mr. Salman and the lady who ensures we are looked after during breakfasts (I apologise her name slipped my memory)--they really are the heart and soul of the establishment. The only thing I can think of that needs improving is the hotel's bathroom in that it needs to be renovated.

駅に近く、メトロでの移動に便利
深夜の到着でも、丁寧に対応してもらいました。受付から一度外へ出て現地の人が通り抜けに使う古路を使わないと行けない部屋に6泊しました。最初は古い感じで宣材写真と印象が違うかなと思いましたが、エアコンのの音がうるさかったこと以外は快適でした。系列ホテルやレストランでの割引きもありました。ただ、スーパーやコンビニは周りに無く、食事場も現地の人しか行かないお店しか無さそうで、英語力は必要かと思います。スナックやドリンクは奥まったgroceryで調達しました。アルラス駅からは本当に近いのでシルバーのノルカードを常用し、チケットマシンでこまめにチャージしながら過ごしました。スタッフのは皆さん良い人ばかりでした。日本語対応は無理ですがある程度旅を経験して自力で食事等をマネージしたい方には、すごくおススメです。

Ahmedia Heritage Guest House
This hotel is at a wonderful location close to souqs and metro link, abras and walking. The staff were excellent and tried in every way possible to help us. The breakfast is substantial and more than met our needs. Alena also offered to make omelets for us in addition to the usual presentation. The beds are comfortable, the room well laid out, and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. This hotel is off the main street and requires a little walking from the nearest taxi access (maybe 75 meters). Once we got our bearings in this location, we were grateful for the seclusion and relatively quiet location. The bedding and towels were of fine quality. This is not an upscale chain hotel; it's a guesthouse and we appreciated the intimacy.

A small hotel in the old city
Considering the price and facility of the hotel one get a fair price and accommodation. However at night time the place is quite isolated. No restaurant close by. Regarding the room, in the bathroom the silicon around the bathtoop we more black than white.

Most convenient location close to all amenities.
Initially difficult to find and even more difficult to get suitcase from the taxi to the reception. Once you have managed the moving in process, the rest is pretty straight forward. Good lay out, great service and very accommodating staff. Breakfast a fair variety and again staff willing to create selection of different egg dishes.

Nice hotel close to souks
We were moved to another room as soon as we said beds are very hard. staff are so friendly and helpful it made our stay there a lovely experience. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Close to souks and shopping areas but not to far from airport or beaches either. Plenty taxis but walking was a lovely experience of meeting people and seeing so much.

Joli cadre, rustique et oriental.
Hôtel sympathique très bien placé dans le vieux Deira, tout proche des différents marchés : or, épices, tissus. Le style n'a rien à voir avec les chaines internationales. On est propulsé dans un petit palais oriental aménagé avec goût. Seul hic : l'appel à la prière à 5 heures 30, qui reprend vers 6 heures. Cela permet de visiter les souks avant la chaleur.

Stay at Ahmedia
The hotel is located slightly on the inside street where you have to walk and go but the hotel staff is cooperative and took us to the hotel. Since I am a pure vegetarian they especially cooked breakfast according to my needs and served me ensuring that I don't remain hungry. Very near to gold souk and creek.

struttura situata nella parte vecchia di Dubai in zona molto comoda. La guest house è composta da separate strutture nelle vicinanze. Le due camere da me viste sono senza foinestre, mobilio vecchio e condumato, sporche, bagni del 1600 in pessime condizioni d'uso. L'uomo alla reception (basso pelato) è stato molto scortese. Colazione minima. Il costo è assolutamente proporzionale a quanto dato. Ci sono altre strutture in zona decisamente meglio allo stesso prezzo.

Convenient and atmospheric hotel but room felt bud
Location is convenient and next to heritage landmarks, common areas are nicely designed, but rooms are spread across two buildings (involving walking outside the hotel in public) and the room I had looked and felt more like a cheap budget hotel with old furniture and quite spartan rather than a heritage hotel. Old does not mean heritage... XVA Hotel which I stayed at also did it better - it was more atmospheric.

If you want a taste of life in Dubai before international architects and upmarket hotels took over, the Ahmedia Heritage Guest House is just right. It has a homey feel, with all the important comforts, including a nice bathroom ensuite, and lots of charm.

Schönes Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Es hat eine sehr gute Anbindung an die Metro, so dass man in kurzer Zeit alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen kann. Auch der Goldsouk liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen für einen Kurz-aufenthalt.

So glad we stayed here!
We found this hotel to be very relaxing and charming. It was not perfect and polished and at times, facilities were in the process of being fixed. However, we did not want to stay in a perfect hotel, but in one that represented the area it is located in and this hotel certainly met that requirement. The hotel is located in a lively, commercial area, where people are busy going about their daily working lives. We found this fascinating and much more interesting than being situated in the more sterile, albeit luxurious hotels that modern Dubai offers. The location of the hotel also means that you can easily walk around the area of Deira and its souks. It also means that you can easily catch the river bus to Bur Dubai and the metro is a short walk away. Breakfast was suitable and whilst not a fantastic spread, it kept the "wolf from the door" and enabled us to start each day not having to worry about where to fuel up beforehand. The staff were very helpful and were a pleasure to meet. We felt safe at all times whilst staying at the hotel and whilst travelling around Dubai itself.

到着したのが朝２時過ぎにも関わらず丁寧な対応をしていただきました。 とにかくスタッフのホスピタリティが素晴らしいです。 チェックアウトは昼の１２時でしたが、その後街歩きを終えた午後３時まで 荷物を預かってくれました。 先進的で人工的な地域が殆どを占めるドバイにおいて 伝統的なこのホテルは、とても貴重でかつ居心地が良いです。

Hårde madrasser og dårlig morgenmad.
De hårdeste madrasser vi nogensinde har oplevet. Vi kunne lige så godt have ligget på gulvet. Morgenmaden var en gang sjask. Kedelig og appetitlig.

Rustikales kleines Guesthouse
Ich hatte einen Aufenthalt von 4 Tagen im Ahmedia Heritage Guesthouse. Man kann sagen, es ist sehr alt - oder es sehr zuvorkommend als "rustikal" beschreiben. Dämmung gegen Lautstärke oder die Außentemperatur ist nicht vorhanden, so dass die glücklicherweise vorhandene Klimaanlage eigentlich dauerhaft laufen muss - leider kennt diese nur die Betriebszustände "an" und "aus", zumindest war das in meinem Zimmer der Fall (103) - für die Nacht daher definitiv zu laut. Ich konnte allerdings, sobald ich eingeschlafen bin bis zum Morgengebet sehr gut schlafen. Da die Lautsprecher für den Ruf des Muezzin direkt neben dem Guesthouse auf einem Dach angebracht sind, ist man zumindest gegen 5 Uhr wach - keine Kritik in dem Sinne - wenn man in ein muslimisches Land reist, dann sollte man das vorher wissen - hier sei nur gesagt, die Lautstärke ist enorm, man hat den Eindruck der Muezzin steht neben dem Bett. Apropos Bett - wer sich lieber weich bettet, der sollte dieses Guesthouse nicht buchen. Die Matratzen sind - damit sie nicht so schnell durchgelegen werden - Steinhart. Die Zimmer selbst werden mit einem schweren Vorhängeschloss abgeschlossen, den Schlüssel zu jedem Schloss gibt es nur einmal und es gibt keinen Generalschlüssel. Also gut aufpassen! Täglich sind 2 Flaschen Wasser inklusive, außerhalb kann man in der nahegelegenen Metro-Station "Al Ras" Wasser für 1,5 AED (0,5 Liter) zusätzlich kaufen. Im Zimmerpreis inklusive ist das Frühstück (meist als Buffet)

Great Guest House In Dubai
In traveling to Dubai, my husband and I wanted to stay in a local guest house, rather than a large hotel. We chose Ahmedia Guest House based on reviews on Trip Advisor. The experience couldn't have been more pleasant. The night manager Bhawani Singh was one of the most gracious and helpful hosts we have ever stayed with. Every effort was made to assure we had a pleasant stay. We had an early morning flight and Mr. Singh was kind enough to bring a beautiful breakfast to our room before we left. The guest house was arranged and decorated in a very traditional style that was unlike the usual carbon copy rooms of hotels. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Ahmedia to any one that wanted a small, intimated place to stay in Dubai.
